Work History

 

8/14-Present = Brunel @ BHP Billiton in Houston, TX

·         Lead Well Delivery Scheduler on Eagle Ford Shale Project

·         Maintained the entire schedule for the Eagle Ford Shale from Planning through completions in Actenum DSO 5 software.

·        Ran weekly meetings to update status and inter-resource timing.

·         Work with Interventions, Completions, and Well Delivery Planners to determine the best sequence for not only the individual resources, but also the whole area of wells.

·         Scheduled for up to 18 Drilling rigs, 9 Frac Crews, and 4 Coil Tube units.

·       Wrote and distributed custom DSO reports to part time users of DSO. These relieved the burden from the schedulers of having to run weekly reports and allowed the end users to run them as needed.

·       Instrumental in designing the latest version of DSO. I provided the parameters that it had to meet to be usable.

 

1/12-8/14 = Tepco @ Marathon Oil in Houston, TX

·         Well Readiness Scheduler on Eagle Ford Shale Project

·         Helped develop the schedule to determine fastest time possible to have a well ready to drill.

·         Built and ran weekly reports to update status

·         Worked with Subsurface manager to determine proper well sequence in rig lines

·         Worked with over 20 different drilling rigs.

·         Ran custom reports out of Acumen Fuse for upper management. 

 

6/11 to 12/11 = Tepco @ Bayer Material Sciences in Baytown, TX

·     Lead TA Scheduler. 

·     Built and maintained TA schedule including Capital Projects and Maintenance schedules

·     Resource loaded schedule for manpower planning.

·     Scheduled 5 Units with critical path in each Unit

·     Software used includes Primavera 8.0 and Excel

 

6/10 to 6/11 = Tepco @ Flint Hills Resources in Port Arthur, TX

·     Project Controls Lead. 

·     Built and maintained multiple schedules including Capital Projects and Turnaround schedules.

·     Collected and reported on progress in all stages of schedules, including engineering and construction.

·     Focal point for all cost issues associated with capital projects and TA’s.

·     Responsible for informing Project Managers of potential cost over runs and helping them mitigate the issue before it happens.

·     Analyzed cost reports to populate cost curves and reports.

·     Site Lead for implementation of the FHR planning and estimate tool

·     Software used includes Primavera 6.7 and Excel.

 

 

11/07 to 6/10 = TTMC @ Shell Chemical in Deer Park, TX.

·     Lead Scheduler. 

·     Built and maintained multiple schedules from planning phase through completion of project

·     Site focal point for Primavera.

·     Assisted in writing the Schedule Premise Document that Shell Deer Park will conduct all TA scheduling activities going forward

·     Developed the interface by which Primavera is able to talk to the cost tool that is used at Shell Deer Park

·     Resource loaded all schedules, focused on critical path activities, and helped train leadership in what ways the schedule can help them manage field construction/ maintenance activities

·     Integrated all Capital projects work that executed during our TA window.

·     Provided earned value reports to gauge progress during the execution window. These ranged from simple S-curves to float reports for specific critical path items, to earned value by specific company, equipment type, or funding source.

·     Frequently called upon to speak to the TA planning department about issues surrounding Primavera or Scheduling in general.

·     Worked with all the contractors to insure that their work was correct in the schedule and they could support the scheduled dates.

·     Worked closely with the cost department to make sure that scheduled hours in Primavera aligned with the projected spend hours for contractors.

·     Software used includes Primavera 4.1, 5.0, 6.0 and 6.2 and Excel

   

12/06 to 11/07 = IMS @ Verasun Energy in Welcome, MN

·     Project Scheduler

·       Built and maintained high level construction schedule for Ethanol Plant        Construction

·       Included timelines for engineering and physical on site construction.

·       Built and updated a remediation schedule for failed subsoil stabilization.

·       Used Primavera 5.0 and Excel

 

1/06 to 11/06 = TTMC @ Exxon-Mobil, Valero, and Shell

·     Built Job plans for added work and input them into the schedule

·     Updated the schedule for daily progress

·     Started as a Boilermaker/Pipe fitter and worked my way up to Lead Area Foreman/General Foreman.

·     Was the site Field Supervisor at Marathon Refinery in St. Paul Park, MN when Starcon took over the Maintenance contract

·     Directed work for all disciplines, piping, boilermakers, insulation, and scaffolding.
